What to expect
If you're visiting us for the first time, here's an idea of what to expect...
Our services are on every Sunday morning 10 am at Hastings.
As you enter our building you'll be welcomed to church by some of our amazing volunteers. We're always glad to have new guests and if you arrive early our cafe has free coffee and tea on offer.
If you have children we have a full kids program running every Sunday from 18 months upwards. Sign them in and relax in church while they have a fantastic time. Be assured that our kids leaders are fully qualified and have "Working with Children" checks in place.
Music and worship are very important to us, so all of our services begin with music led by a contemporary band. Worship normally lasts for 25 minutes or so.
We change things up a bit from here on but normally you will find the following things happen:
- Welcome from a pastor
- Announcements for the coming weeks
- Collection of freewill tithes and offerings (completely voluntary and definitely not expected from guests).
- One of our pastors will preach a biblical message that will impact your daily life.
- The entire service generally runs for an hour and a half or so and we expect that it will be a life impacting time for everyone who attends.
A supervised vibrant children’s program is available for the duration of our services in both Frankston and Hastings each Sunday. For more information, please see our Connect Kids page.
The children’s program is overseen by an accredited K-10 school teacher with qualifications in early childhood education. All Connect Kids’ supervisors hold a current Working with Children Check.
Our Connect Café is a space we have created for people to connect, get to know one another and meet both before and after services.
We place a high value on relationship and the importance of having people in our lives. We would love to see you there.
Coffee and tea are available free of charge every Sunday at church, made by our fantastic coffee team! Come and grab a coffee and get to meet some amazing people.
Connect Youth is the best place you can be if you're a teenager. All teens from Year 6-12 are welcome!
We meet every Friday night during school terms from 7-9 pm. There's games, music, food but most importantly we spend time talking about a real relationship with God and how He can change your life forever. Come and experience a life changing encounter and discover it all for yourself! Check out our Facebook page for the current locations and up coming events
Harbour care runs Monday and Wednesday from 10am to 2pm.
On Monday nights we host a recovery ministry which helps supports people who are struggling with addictions find true meaning and freedom from this cycle. The meetings are held on Monday nights from 7:30pm to 9pm.
